Memory File Christmas Album with the SIlhouette

I've been MIA for awhile.  Last week I was taking two different classes.  The first was Mo'tography with Heidi Swapp and Jessica Sprague.  It was a class designed to teach you how to use various phone apps and your camera phone to create some awesome photos and hybrid projects.  So much fun!  The second class I was taking was the Heidi Swapp Memory Files Live class.  So much fun and so many possibilities.  I'll be posting those projects soon, but the kids are here for the weekend (both at the same time...never happens).  They are upstairs sound asleep this morning, so I thought I'd do a little prep work for a Christmas Album I have in mind.  Aren't these just the cutest folders ever?  I made them all with the Silhouette, some K & CO paper that I picked up at Target.  I cannot wait to put this together.  I'm going to use some ideas from the classes I took this week.

Besides the two amazing classes last week, I also had a super fun "secret project" I've been working on due.  I gave you a little sneak peak a few days ago.  I'll be posting those fun projects, too!  I need to finish up my Silhouette 101 Christmas Card Series as well.  I hope to be back to regular posting this coming week.

  1. i have several classes that i need to do that i have signed up for from Kerri Bradshaw. But i have been trying to do your Christmas cards, your videos are very good. I have been having fun following along with you, i am only on the 2nd card. lol. i did have a bit of problem trying to select just the 3 trees, everytime i tried it would select the whole card. :-( i won't tell you what i had to do to get those trees adjusted right. lol. i did have a question (besides wondering how you selected the trees without selecting the whole card), what is the name of the font that you used for the "merry"? i tried looking for it and not really sure i am looking for the right one. i am thinking you said, "arsenal white, but can't find it anywhere.
Have a wonderful time with the kids... hugs
(can't wait to see your "secret" project

  2. Sandy,
The easiest way to select all three trees without selecting what is behind them is to Hold the Shift Key and Select each tree until all three are selected, OR move the trees off the card front, then drag a box around all three and that will select them. The font is Aresenal White... you can download it free here

  7. Sandy, I just looked and it appears they deleted the 12 days Christmas and tied it into their new kit with Echo Park called Very Merry. It has a lot of the the same elements. Heidi and Jessica just came out with this kit this year. It's actually available in paper version as well. http://www.jessicasprague.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.pbv.tabs.tpl&product_id=2663&category_id=78&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=328

  13. I got the Boingo don't from dafont.com. If you just download the font to your computer it will automatically show up in the silhouette software. I can't give you instructions without knowing what version of operating software you are using. I.e Mac windows 8 etc
