Father's Day Card - Masculine Card Block Hop

Father's Day is just around the corner and what a great time to participate in a masculine card blog hop!  A group of 26 youtubers/bloggers have come together to create a string of masculine card ideas.  You can find the entire list of collaborators on my video below.

I just love the method I used to make this word "Happy" shine like an epoxy sticker, even though it's made from cardstock.

Masculine Birthday Card

Masculine Birthday Card.  I made this for Doug's birthday tomorrow.  I'm terrible at masculine cards.  I'm not sure why that is, the concepts are the same, but without Bows, Bling and Ribbon, I feel lost! :)  How do you like to make masculine cards?

I made this card for my brother, Scott.  I used Stampin Up digital papers and elements.  I the anchor paper was originally a deep red with beige anchors, I changed the colors to navy and white with photoshop.  The layout came from a card inspiration I found on Pinterest.

Birthday Wishes, Masculine

I always find masculine cards, of any kind, are the hardest for me.  I made this one with scraps from Richie's book last night.  I really like how it turned out.  I will post a photo of the inside later, I've got to head to work.  It's just the same background with the kraft in the middle for the writing space.

Hybrid Cards... for the sailor in your life

I made this card with the Stampin'Up Digital Downloads.  I printed all of the elements out on white cardstock and then cut and pasted it together.  I really love the sailboat stamp.

Happy Birthday, Doug!!

Today is Doug's Birthday!  Wooohoo!   I got him a cast iron grill pan that he's been wanting along with an hour long message at the salon where I get my hair done.  He is going tonight for a deep tissue message, then I will cook him dinner.   He wouldn't let me post pictures of him this morning before his shower.. :)  I'll post some later.
