Happy Halloween Treat Box with Deco Foil

Michelle RAK (12 of 12)

Hello there!  Lorrie here with a quick and easy Halloween Treat Box using your Halloween papers, some handmade embellishments and, of course, Deco Foils!  I've included a fun printable below for you to make the matching tag and the center of the rosette.
First thing you need to do, is turn on your laminator.   You will want it to preheat for at least 15 plus minutes.
I started with this fun Gable Box.  You can pick one up almost anywhere, or even cut one with your digital cutter.  Next, cut Halloween papers in corresponding sizes to fit the box and adhere with the Thermoweb Adhesive Runner.
Next, assemble the Rosette.  Cut 2 pieces of 1-1/2" x 12" pattern paper .  Score each strip at every 1/2" and fold.  Using a hot glue gun adhere the two pieces end to end, and then again to form a circle.

Next, cut a 1" circle from some scrap paper.  Gather the accordian folded ring into the center and lay flat to form a rosette.  Apply a small dab of hot glue in the center of the top, hold for a few seconds.  Next flip over the rosette and apply hot glue to the 1" circle and attach to the rosette.

Using Thermoweb Large Zots adhere the rosette to the box.
Time to print this fun printable.  Click on the picture to download.  Make sure you print with a laser printer and/or copier.  Your local office supply can do this for you if you don't have one.

For extra fun, print it on pattern paper!

Cut out the shapes. Arrange shapes on the Deco Foil.  I like to make my sandwich with the Deco Foil pretty side down, then apply my shapes face down on top of the foil, this way I can make sure everything is covered and not overlapping.  Run the sandwich though your preheated laminator.

Lift off the Deco Foil and look at the pretty tags!

Attach the tag with a pretty coordinating ribbon and the center of the rosette using Thermoweb large Zots.  If you don't have a button maker, you can use the Epiphany Crafts Round 25 Tool, or even just leave it as is.

Don't forget to fill the box with Treats!  You don't really want a "trick",  do you?
