Do you watch Heidi Swapp's My Craft Channel shows every Wednesday? I do! This past Wednesday, she introduced this simple card using color magic paper and color shine with a doily. I added some seam binding and changed the embellishments from hers but the concept is the same. I used Dylusional spray ink for this yummy electric green color. The stamp is by Papertrey Ink. Butterflies are by Heidi Swapp.
Thanks for looking

Heidi Swapp What "Wood" you do - Take Two
This is another album I made to add to the #HSWOODALBUM contest on Instagram. If you haven't entered you have until March 25th (See details on previous post). For this album I again used the versamark ink for the butterfly stamp, but I also used it with a stencil to make the pattern on the front. I used white embossing powder over the versamark then heat set it. Once the embossed areas had cooled, I misted the entire cover with ColorShine in Mustard.
I covered the top right corner with a small paper plate and then misted with Georgia Peach around the edges. I finished it off with seam binding with I also misted with the Mustard and Georgia Peach and a few pieces of bling. I also used Heidi's Buzzwords for the "true".

Heidi Swapp What "Wood" You do Wood Album
Have you heard? Heidi Swapp is having a random drawing to win ALL of the bottles of Color Shine? All you have to do to win is pick up one of her wood albums at Michaels and get to work making it your own, post pictures on Instagram of your process and/or finished project and tag it with #hswood album and add a shout out to Heidi by adding @hkswapp. That's it! That's all you have to do to be entered to win.
For my album I tried heat embossing the heart album. I used Versaark ink, script stamp and white embossing powder. Once I heat set the embossing powder I misted the cover with Primrose.

I finished the album off with some of Heidi's buzzwords and mistable hearts. The black and white glitter paper is from her Sugar Chic paper pad. All items available at Michaels.

Heidi Swapp Color Shine & Sugar Chic Mini Album
I made this album to put my spring flower pictures in this year. It's so bright and cherry.
I used the Heidi Swapp Color Magic Papers and Color Shine spray in Mustard for the outside covers. The inside pages are all from the new Sugar Chic Paper Pad now available at Michaels

For the inside pages I cut a sheet of 12 x 12 in half to 12 x 6, then folded it in half, rounded the corners and punched with the cinch.
The shorter pages are from the tag page included in the paper stack. This album went together in minutes and I love how everything coordinates in Heidi's line. So easy!

Now, about that awesome binding wire? I had an idea the other night.... spray paint!! Yep, that's all I did and it worked! I was so excited!!! Check out these cutie patooties!
Can you imagine how cute these would be on a fun album? I am so flipping excited!!!!

Color Shine by Heidi Swapp, the Silhouette and a Sunday Afternoon
I've been playing today! I am currently taking the Memory Files Live class with Heidi Swapp. We've been playing with Mini File Folders and I am in love! I was thinking today that I could use Heidi's ColorMagic Paper, the Silhouette and make my own Mini File Folder. Well Here it is... (SWOON). I love, love, love it!

After the first success above, I thought I'd try some Color Resist Papers I had from the Old Artisian
Collection by Pink Paislee. LOVE IT! The top one was misted with ColorShine in Mustard. The bottom one was misted in Georgia Peach. These are just the cutest size. If you haven't taken any of Heidi's memory files class.... you must! It's such a great concept. I cannot wait to put these babies to work.
PS: For the ColorMagic Paper on the Silhouette I used the following settings
Blade Setting 5, thickness 33, and speed 5 (Double Cut).
