Hello again!
Today I made this card using a Life Template by Lori Whitlock.  Remember you can always use the templates even if you're not a project lifer.  I simply brought the 12 x 12 template into Photoshop, resized it to 5 x 5, added the fun papers from Lori Whitlock - Maggie Collection and added a few elements from the same collection.  I then saved all the components as a .jpg and opened them in Silhouette software where I traced and cut them all out.

Trick Or Treat Card with Echo Park Apothecary Digital and Silhouette Cameo

Hello there! 

If you had a choice... trick or treat?  I will always chose a treat!  So much fun Halloween Candy out there.  Do you have a favorite?

I made this hybrid card with the Silhouette.  I used some digital elements by Echo Park Apothecary.
It's one of my favorite Halloween kits of all time.  I simply brought the elements into my Silhouette, sized them accordingly and then just traced and cut them out.  Even the background paper was printed on my printer.

Another digital/hybrid card using Maggie Holmes digital kit

This is another card I made using the digital papers and elements available from Maggie Holmes digital kit.  I put this together very quickly after importing the elements into the Silhouette, printing then cutting.  It's a very happy & bright card.

I was so excited to see that Maggie Holmes now offers her line in digital!  I made this card entirely from her digital elements and papers which I imported to the Silhouette.  I am in love with this entire line!  I added just a little stitching around the black/white chevron paper and across the tag.  The "hello" is a stamp by Papertray Ink.

Christmas Cards with Heidi Swapp Christmas Freebies

Have you been collecting the Heidi Swapp Digital Christmas Freebies?   If you haven't, go now!  They are so cute, I can't decide which I like best!   I made these cards using quite a few of her products/ideas!  The papers, elements and the basic idea of the card layout are all Heidi Swapp touches.  Some of the elements are from her digital Christmas Kit with Jessica Sprague which was available last year, but I believe many of the same elements are now available in the Echo Park "Very Merry" kit.

Halloween Card with Silhouette Cameo and Lori Whitlock Digi Papers

Hi there!  Yes, you guessed it... ANOTHER Halloween project.  I just love crafting for Halloween.  I made this card using the Silhouette Cameo and digital kit by Lori Whitlock called "Happy Halloween".  It's available Here.  Such a fun collection.  I also used Lori's new masking template shapes for the black funky scallop circle which I brought into the Silhouette Software and cut with Black Glitter Paper.  The bat was also cut with the black glitter paper.  It's very sparkly.  I love how intricately the Silhouette cuts.  Look at that bad.  He is very, very small and there is not one rough edge or tear and that is on glittered paper, which is not the easiest thing to cut.

Fancy Pants October 31 Halloween Collection, Halloween Cards

I made these fun Halloween cards using the Digital Kit by Fancy Pants called October 31 Halloween Collection.  It will be available at JessicaSprague.com soon!!  I also used various cardstock, Big Shot and miscellaneous ribbon. 

Silhouette Treat Box / Teacher Gift

 I made this using my Silhouette Cameo and a fun digital kit by Design by Dani called It's Elementary which will be available soon at JessicaSprague.Com

 I filled it with Smarties.  Every teacher wants a classroom full of Smarties.... right?
If you'd like to make this I used the template called Popcorn box available at the Silhouette Studio online store.  I shrank it down a bit so that it would fit on 8.5 x 11 and still be able to have registration marks (since I used digital papers). I've also included a video to show you how to assemble.

Silhouette Cameo, Mini File Folder Card based on Heidi Swapp Memory File Concept

 

Well you know I've just completed the Art of Observation class with Heidi Swapp.  You also know that in that class we learned all about Heidi's memory file concept.  I thought I'd take some of the ideas we learned in class and incorporate them into a card.  I made this using Lori Whitlock's "Maggie" collection available soon at JessicaSprague.com and my Silhouette Cameo.  It was really fun.  I started with a mini file folder from the Silhouette Library.  I hope you like it! I can see using the file folder idea as a card template in a thousand different ways!

Valentine Card with my Silhouette Cameo

I made this cute Valentine card with the Pink Paislee Spellbound Digital Elements & Papers.   You can get them at Jessicasprague.com just click on the link above.  I adore Pink Paislee.  The papers in this kit just OOOZE Valentines, but could very easily be adapted for any number of girl pages, adult pages.  The tags are all blank so you can add whatever sentiment (digital or stamp) that you like.   I cut them out with my Silhouette Cameo.  I am LOVING the Silhouette.  Already I've used it more than I ever used my Cricut.  I find it so much more versatile.  Valentines is right around the corner... have you made any cards yet?

Thank You - Jessica Sprague - Nov 2011 - Assignment 2

For my second project for Jessica Sprague featuring designer Jodie Lee, I decided to make a hybrid card.  For this card I used Jodie Lee's French Market Papers and Vintage Birdie Brushes.  The paper pack is very elegant.  You can buy them here.

Thank You - Challenge Entry

This is the card I submitted for my "challenge" over at Jessica Sprague.  At the end of our Mouse Paper Scissors class she issued a challenge to create a card using 1 of four Photoshop lessons we learned and Heidi requested we use 1 of a list 4 things she taught us (though we learned a lot more than 4 for both Photoshop and Hybrid).  So... for my Photoshop portion, you have the curly label which was pink, I recolored it and added a digital brush to the label.  For my Hybrid portion you have the ruffle made from tissue paper, the glimmer misted leaf element (both on the list of four things we had to use).  Winner of this entry (which is a random winner, not a best card or anything) gets a free class at Jessica Sprague! Woot Woot!

Mouse Paper Scissors - Mirror

This was soooo much fun!   We have had journaling assignments everyday during the five week class.  Sometimes they were silly, sometimes more thoughtful.  We didn't know what we were going to do with all this, but Heidi and Jessica kept telling us.. keep writing!   Well here it is.  This mirror has been decoupaged with all of my journaling for the last five weeks.   There is also a wooden easel that holds the mirror, but I haven't completed it yet, I am still trying to decide what color.  I may change my banner on this, so I don't want to color my easel just yet. Love, love, love this project!  Sadly it's our last week.  I am going to miss it!!!

Thank You Hybrid Card

This is a hybrid card.  I used Cosmo Cricket Digital Papers and a template from the Mouse Paper Scissors class and a piece of ledger paper from my personal stash for the inside.  The Peanutbutter cookies were purely for creative motivation! :)

Mouse Paper Scissors - Project #2

Both of the above cards were printed on white cardstock. All of the pattern paper is digitally created as well as the embellishments (with the exception of the ribbon)

Really love this type of class. Reminds me a lot of Jessica Spragues card class with the added benefit of Heidi Swapp.

A little about Heidi Swapp. She's been so awesome. She's on our forum messageboard daily, she talks with everyone and has the most wonderful sense of humor.. can you tell I'm a fan?? Really, I highly recommend this class or any class by Heidi and/or Jessica.
