Cartabella Rustic Elegance Wedding Cards with Thermoweb Adhesives

Hello everyone!  I'm so excited to share my projects this week. I am up on the Thermoweb blog today.   When we received the Cartabella Rustic Elegance collection as part of our partner week, my jaw dropped.  This kid it drop dead gorgeous!

It's so simple to create tons of beautiful wedding projects with this kit.

For the cards shown above, simply cut out the gorgeous pattern papers included in the Cartabella Rustic Elegance kit.  Layer as shown using Thermoweb foam squares.  Add double layers of foam squares to add even more dimension.   Die cut circles and simply add the stickers included in the kit. Add a little stitching around the edges for an extra touch of texture.

To assemble the two cards above, again use the pattern papers to cut standard A2 cards and layer as shown.  Use Thermoweb Foam Squares to pop the elements off the page.  Add some gold thread secured with a Thermoweb Mini Zot.  Layer the stickers and die cuts over the top.  Adhere the card front to the card bases using the Thermoweb Adhesive Runner.

And that's it!  Easy peasy.  I created these four cards in no time and have plenty left to make several more.  I have to say, this is one of the most pretty wedding kits I've ever seen.

Have a beautiful weekend!  I actually  have a wedding reception to attend tomorrow and I know just where to get a card!

Until next time!

Here's another card featuring Oak Tree Stamps.  This one is the Now and Forever stamp set.  I colored this with the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers which I am loving at the moment!  Thanks to Ken Hess for sending me these fun stamps to play with.

Below I've listed a process video of the making of this card.

Wedding Card inspired by invitation

It is June and with June comes lots of wedding showers and weddings.  I've made so many wedding shower/wedding cards already this season I am running out of ideas.

My nephew is getting married later today.  I was looking at his invitation this morning and immediately knew what I wanted to do for their card.
They are having a barn theme wedding and reception.  Their invitation is above on the left (I've covered all the personal information).    You can definitely see where my inspiration came from for this card.

I am so excited how it turned out.  I simply used a piece of Kraft Cardstock and a woodgrain stamp to heat emboss the wood finish for the background.  Then a simple doiley, some gold twine and a super simple tag.

A quick and easy stamp and hearts on the inside and project complete!

Of course a fun card needs a pretty envelope.

Wedding Card with Cricut Explore One and Pen Accessory Tool

Hello, and thanks for stopping by!   Today I have an elegant Wedding Card for you.  I made this card using the Cricut Explore One.
'Tis the season for weddings and wedding showers and boy, do I have a lot in the new two months.
I needed a card that could be used for several occasions.
I made two different versions of this particular card.  On the card above, I used the Cricut Pen tool and wrote the sentiment.  On the Card below I used a stamped image by Stampin' Up and gold embossed the sentiment.
This card base could be used for so many occasions simply by changing out the sentiment and embellishments.  Swap out the cluster of elements and insert a cupcake and candle and you've got a birthday card.  Take away the birds and add a Mother's Day greeting and you've got a Mother's Day Card.

Here is a video tutorial showing you how to make this card and assemble.

Wedding Layout for Ashlea using Heidi Swapp Sugar Chic

I have not completed a traditional 12 x 12 layout in awhile.  Ashlea and Richie have some really cute photos from their wedding and I would like to scrap them all into one album.  We will see how that goes!

I started with a sketch for this layout, but it's far from what the sketch looked like.  Isn't that the fun thing about working with sketches.  They just get "the ball rolling" for you.

As usual you can see I used a lot of Heidi Swapp Sugar Chic collection for this layout.  A bit of sewing for some dimension, a punch for the scallops and the ever fun color pop banners.

Wedding Congratulations Card

Congratulations.  This card started to be a wedding card, but I soon figured out I have no wedding sentiments and I wasn't in the mood to photoshop one, so I switched it out at the last minute.  I think the Wedding Sentiment would work better.  May change that out.

Wedding Shower or Anniversary Card with Silhouette Cameo & Pink Paislee Papers

I made this card using a Silhouette Cutfile for the birds and branches.  The shape is from the Stampin Up Top Note Die.  The papers are by Pink Paislee from the Daily Junque Collection (one of my all time favorites).  You could easily use this as a Wedding Card, Love or Valentine card with a simple change of sentiment.

Wedding or Wedding Shower Card

First of all, I totally cased This Card by Amanda Corbet.  I just think it's the sweetest card ever.  I thought I would try and use some tule and make a veil on my owl bride, but I just couldn't get it to lay right, I know it could be done, but I didn't have any more time.  I've got a bridal shower to go to this weekend.  Her wedding colors are grey and black, so this was perfect.  I think I like Amanda's card better. I might have to sneak in a few minutes and try again.
