Lori Whitlock - New Releases this week at Jessica Sprague.com

 

Hi there!  It's Friday and that means another new release from Lori Whitlock! 

Look at the adorable templates she's releasing this week.  The card above is just one of her new release in the Christmas Cards Set #4.  When I saw this card, I just knew I wanted to use this fun Christmas photo I took a two years ago of my sweet Golden Retriever.  It's so simple to create a fun, personalized Christmas Card with Lori's Templates.  You can simply just add a photo in Photoshop, or, if you're not a Photoshopper, she also offers the file in png format, that way you can easily use any photo software to simply add your own photo.  The only thing I added to this card was the "with love" text and the poinsettias... (they are from Lori Whitlock's Christmas "Reflections" collection available at Jessica Sprague.

In addition to the fun Christmas Card releases, Lori's got several 2014 calendars ready for you to personalize wit your favorite photos!   I chose this fun 3 photo template to make a handy year calendar for my refigerator.... Silhouette Cameo Halloween Card with Digital Kit by Echo Park

I made this card using the digital kit by Echo Park "Apothecary".  I designed the elements in the Silhouette software, then filled them with papers from the kit, printed and cut with the Silhouette.  I've made a video below if you are interested in learning how to design with digital kits and the Silhoeutte.

Halloween Card with Silhouette Cameo and Lori Whitlock Digi Papers

Hi there!  Yes, you guessed it... ANOTHER Halloween project.  I just love crafting for Halloween.  I made this card using the Silhouette Cameo and digital kit by Lori Whitlock called "Happy Halloween".  It's available Here.  Such a fun collection.  I also used Lori's new masking template shapes for the black funky scallop circle which I brought into the Silhouette Software and cut with Black Glitter Paper.  The bat was also cut with the black glitter paper.  It's very sparkly.  I love how intricately the Silhouette cuts.  Look at that bad.  He is very, very small and there is not one rough edge or tear and that is on glittered paper, which is not the easiest thing to cut.

Fancy Pants October 31 Halloween Collection, Halloween Cards

I made these fun Halloween cards using the Digital Kit by Fancy Pants called October 31 Halloween Collection.  It will be available at JessicaSprague.com soon!!  I also used various cardstock, Big Shot and miscellaneous ribbon. 

Valentine Card with my Silhouette Cameo

I made this cute Valentine card with the Pink Paislee Spellbound Digital Elements & Papers.   You can get them at Jessicasprague.com just click on the link above.  I adore Pink Paislee.  The papers in this kit just OOOZE Valentines, but could very easily be adapted for any number of girl pages, adult pages.  The tags are all blank so you can add whatever sentiment (digital or stamp) that you like.   I cut them out with my Silhouette Cameo.  I am LOVING the Silhouette.  Already I've used it more than I ever used my Cricut.  I find it so much more versatile.  Valentines is right around the corner... have you made any cards yet?

Valentines Card, Silhouette Cameo, Heaven!!

I made this card using digital elements and my new Silhouette Cameo machine!  So FUN!   This card uses the digital kit by Pink Paisley called "Sweetness".  It will be available soon at Jessica Sprague.  It is so fresh and fun, I absolutely LOOOOVE this kit.

Have you tried the Silhouette Cameo yet?  I am in HEAVEN!  I have sold a lot of my Cricut Stuff and have converted to Silhouette.  Did you know you can print any jpg, png, clipart, whatever you can print it and then CUT IT OUT with the Silhouette.  No cartridges needed, no added software (the software is free) and it's sooo simple.  Also you can use their software to design your own custom shapes or if you wish you can shop in their store and choose an image (or several images) and cut them.  They have amazing designs to chose from including Echo Park, S.E.I., Samatha Walker, Lori Whitlock.. and many many more!  Most images are $0.99 each if you pay full price...BUT if you have a subscription the cost goes down even more.  I bought a subscription for $14.99 which gives me $25 worth of images which brings the cost down to a mere $.60 an image.  Each week there are clearance items which are $0.50 each and even a free item to add to you treasure box of goodies!  I cannot wait to share some of the images I purchased already! 

Halloween Cards

OK.. so I did one more from the Stampin Up Papers (Can't throw out perfectly good paper...right?)  I got my new pennant punch the other day, and I wanted to give it a try.

Additional Spooky Digi Cards

Like the card below, these were all made with Digital Patterned Papers (meaning I just printed out the papers on white cardstock.   The sentiments were also printed on my printer using Stampin' Up digital stamps (brushes).  The colors are dead on with Stampin Up colors.   I used the actual solid cardstocks with the digital patterned papers and the colors match perfectly.  I bought all my supplies from Barb aka Snowmanlover.

Thank You - Challenge Entry

This is the card I submitted for my "challenge" over at Jessica Sprague.  At the end of our Mouse Paper Scissors class she issued a challenge to create a card using 1 of four Photoshop lessons we learned and Heidi requested we use 1 of a list 4 things she taught us (though we learned a lot more than 4 for both Photoshop and Hybrid).  So... for my Photoshop portion, you have the curly label which was pink, I recolored it and added a digital brush to the label.  For my Hybrid portion you have the ruffle made from tissue paper, the glimmer misted leaf element (both on the list of four things we had to use).  Winner of this entry (which is a random winner, not a best card or anything) gets a free class at Jessica Sprague! Woot Woot!

This is a hybrid card.  I used Cosmo Cricket Digital Papers and a template from the Mouse Paper Scissors class and a piece of ledger paper from my personal stash for the inside.  The Peanutbutter cookies were purely for creative motivation! :)

One more quick card

So, I found out that I didn't load half of the elements on the Digital Studio. There's two disk. If you get it, be sure and load both! lol So, I wanted to look around and see what was added and in the process came up with this. Again, I would just use this as a template to actually make the card.

Another Cool thing about My Digital Studio

Just messing around with this software. You can design a card on the program using SU product, then you can tweak it, change colors, move it around instead of wasting your actual product - you just create it here, then use your punches, paper, ribbons to create the actual card.
