I cannot believe it's May already! Mother's Day is next weekend, which means it's time to plant flowers here in the Midwest.
That is what inspired me to make this card. Mother's Day and Flowers... they just go together, don't you think?
I created this with the help of my Cricut Explore. The beauty of this card is that by simply changing out the sentiment, it could easily become a Get Well Soon, Sympathy, Thinking of You or even a Happy Birthday Card.

I created this card based on a card I made last year. While I loved the cards from last year as shown below
here's another version of last year's card
I was very happy with how it turned out last year, but had so many of my Cricut followers ask for a tutorial. I thought I would try to make this card 100% from Cricut Products. In last year's version, I cut the star and stag with the Cricut, but the doily was store bought and the sentiments were stamped.
So.... this card was born
It is super simple and the Cricut Glitter Cardstock along with the Cricut Foiled Poster Board (linked below), made this so super simple to recreate in Design Space and the best part is, I never had to leave my house! :)

I loved making this card. I used the OakTree Stamps Puppy Love Stamp Set paired with the Tim Holtz Crazy Birds Accessory Set (for the Bunny Ears) to make this adorable, though somewhat annoyed puppy bunny! :)
It's been awhile since I made a Cricut Tutorial. I created this card the other night on my Ipad while watching TV. I was too tired to cut and assemble, so I waited till the next morning and pulled it up in Design Space on the computer and decided to make a tutorial. I just love the fact that Cricut Design Space allows you to create on one device and pick up where you left off on another. Just one of the great advantages of the online feature!

We have teamed up with PhotoPlay for our recent projects and I couldn’t
be more excited. I just love this “Dear Santa” collection.
I created a
fun pocket letter for you, as well as a quick Christmas Card.
Let’s start with the Pocket Letter. Are you following this trend?
Pocket letters are so much fun! The idea behind pocket letters is a
cross between a PenPal and a scrapbook.
One creates a pocket letter and sends it to their “pocket letter pal”
who sends one back. They are filled with goodies you can take out and
use, or just leave as is. I, personally, collect mine and store in a
3-ring binder.
Simply start with a 9 pocket trading card sleeve. Fill each pocket
with goodies. You can see here, I’ve used the PhotoPlay Dear Santa
collection. Using Thermoweb Adhesive Foam Strips and Foam Squares it’s
super easy to create a lot of dimension in each pocket.
Thermoweb Zots are perfect for assembling this 3D bow and for adding elements to the outside of the pockets
For elements that you want to lay flat, I prefer the Thermoweb XL
tape runner and or the Liquid FabricFuse. Yes, the liquid Fabric Fuse
is perfect on paper and super strong! I used the Fabric Fuse to adhere
the lattice piece to the card below. It is just perfect to get into
those hard to reach, delicate areas.
I want to thank PhotoPlay for allowing us to play with their
collections. I had so much fun with the Dear Santa Collection. Don’t

It's been a little while since I've made a card. I have the honor of attending a super special baby shower tomorrow. Baby Hayden was born 4 months early at only 2lbs. She's doing very well. I can't wait to attend the shower. She's still in NICU, but they hope to have her home by Christmas. I made this super simple, super quick card to welcome her.
It is June and with June comes lots of wedding showers and weddings. I've made so many wedding shower/wedding cards already this season I am running out of ideas.
My nephew is getting married later today. I was looking at his invitation this morning and immediately knew what I wanted to do for their card.
They are having a barn theme wedding and reception. Their invitation is above on the left (I've covered all the personal information). You can definitely see where my inspiration came from for this card.
I am so excited how it turned out. I simply used a piece of Kraft Cardstock and a woodgrain stamp to heat emboss the wood finish for the background. Then a simple doiley, some gold twine and a super simple tag.
A quick and easy stamp and hearts on the inside and project complete!
Of course a fun card needs a pretty envelope.

Hello!
I'm so excited to share with you a fun technique to use with your Deco
Foils. I created a series of patterned toner sheets. They are simply
8.5 x 11 sheets that you can print with your laser printer or at your
local office supply, then cut with your digital die cutter, punches, by
hand or even use as background paper. I recommend printing onto 110#
white cardstock.

Now
for the fun part! Cut some fun shapes out of the toner sheet. I used
my Cricut Explore to cut these shapes, letters and numbers.
Grab your favorite color of Deco Foil, heat up your laminator and decide which shapes you'd like to laminate.
Using
a piece of copy paper folded in half, lay your shapes down inside the
folded paper with the pattern facing up, then apply the Deco Foil color
side up, close the copy paper and run it through your laminator (make
sure you laminator has been preheated and it nice and hot). Remove the foil (look at this fun negative!) Now stand back and admire your beautiful work. How cool are these blue foiled shapes and letters!
The possibilities are endless!

A quick and easy card for today. I realized when I woke up that I needed to send a thank you card out today. I put this together before I headed to Work. In my mind it was a soft card with pinks and as you can see, I ended up in a totally different place. Do you ever do that??
