Pattern Toner Sheets with Deco Foils

Hello! I'm so excited to share with you a fun technique to use with your Deco Foils. I created a series of patterned toner sheets. They are simply 8.5 x 11 sheets that you can print with your laser printer or at your local office supply, then cut with your digital die cutter, punches, by hand or even use as background paper. I recommend printing onto 110# white cardstock.
You can download these toner sheets HERE.Now for the fun part! Cut some fun shapes out of the toner sheet. I used my Cricut Explore to cut these shapes, letters and numbers.

Grab your favorite color of Deco Foil, heat up your laminator and decide which shapes you'd like to laminate.

Using a piece of copy paper folded in half, lay your shapes down inside the folded paper with the pattern facing up, then apply the Deco Foil color side up, close the copy paper and run it through your laminator (make sure you laminator has been preheated and it nice and hot).
Remove the foil (look at this fun negative!)
Now stand back and admire your beautiful work. How cool are these blue foiled shapes and letters! The possibilities are endless!

If you'd like to see the entire process, here is a quick video:

The Story of Us Canvas
I'm so excited how this project turned out. I prepped a white canvas with white acrylic paint. I then used my Cricut Explore to cut "the Story of Us" out in canvas. I applied the vinyl to the canvas, painted over the entire canvas again with white paint. After the canvas had dried thoroughly, I painted the teal paint over the entire canvas. Once dried, I peeled up the vinyl.

Here is a another version I made.
I have added a video tutorial showing how to make the base card layer as well as the extra embellishments.

Hey Foxy! Card
Hey foxy!
This card was so fun to make. I used the Fox from Lori Whitlock's SVG shop, and my Cricut Explore. I don't know what it is about this little guy, but I want to put him on everything.
I used the Cricut Explore pens to write the sentiment using Lori Whitlock Tall Sketch Font.

Elle's Studio week at ThermoWeb
Hello there! It's Elle's Studio week over at Thermoweb. I had the awesome change to play with Elle's Studio Love You More Collection. I love everything about this collection. It's soft muted colors are just my style.
Stop by the Thermoweb Blog to get more details on this layout. Don't forget to check out the adhesive collection while you're there. Seriously, you can't beat the glue dots and foam adhesives, they are my go to!
I also made this fun card from the same papers and embellishments. I added a bit of glossy accents on the heart and some bakers twine to add a little something extra.

Silhouette Valentine
I've been snowed in all weekend! Seriously... is this winter ever going to end? On the good side... I've had lots and lots of time to play. I have fallen in love with my Silhouette all over again. I never fell out of love with it, but this weekend I spent some time doing different things with it. I really loved using the Sketch Pens. I'll do a post on that soon! It's a way cool feature. If you haven't tried it out, you must!.
This is a shape I bought from the Silhouette store and made into a shaped card. Isn't she adorable? I really just cut it out according to the photo and pieced it together using foam dots.

Happy Anniversary Card using Heidi Swapp Sugar Chic
Hello there!
I know everyone is in the "Father's Day" card mode, but Father's Day is also Doug's mom and dad's anniversary! We are going to dinner tonight to celebrate with them. I made this quick card using Heidi Swapp's Sugar Chic paper pad and Color Magic Hearts. I really do have tons and tons of papers, but I find myself reaching for Heidi's stuff more often than not. It's such a fun, vibrant, "goes with anything" paper.

Happy Mother's Day Everyone
I hope you are enjoying your Mother's Day today!
This card was made as an alternate choice for Doug's mom. I used Heidi Swapp products exclusively. All can be found at Michaels.
It's been quite some time since I made cards. Sometimes you just have to change gears to get your creative juices going again. I always feel so much less pressure to make a card.

Cards Hugs & Hearts
The first card I've made in quite awhile. I've been busy with the Art of Observation class and haven't even thought about a card. I threw this one together today. I was out of practice.

Valentine Mini-Album
You've heard me mention Heidi Swapp & Jessica Sprague's "For the Love Kit" Mini Album and Class Kit available at JessicaSprague.com over and over during the last several posts. Well this is the high-light of the class. Look at this CUTE file folder book that Heidi walks you through in her class video! Everything you need is included in the kit with the exception of the file folder and extra bling (ribbons, buttons, etc). Heidi shows you how to make the book just like hers or you can take a few of her ideas and add a few of your own (as I have done). This is really just an amazing book that you could use for more than just Valentines Day. I, personally, am giving this to Doug for V-day. It's not too late to go grab this class and whip up this book. All you need is a little time, a printer and some adhesive, scissors and you are all set! LOVED this book!

Beau Chateau Card
I got my Beau Chateau (Stampin Up) card kit from Snowmanlover in the mail the other day. Today is the first chance I've had to open it up and play. Here is the first card I made. Such a different type of card for me, but the papers are so pretty, I couldn't help myself.
